Trump Decides Not To... Prosecute Biden?

Donald Trump seems to be walking back his promise to prosecute the Biden Crime Family. Is that a good idea, or is he making the same mistake he did when he offered an olive branch in 2016 by not prosecuting Hillary Clinton?
